Call for Participation

We are pleased to announce that the TRAMAN21 Workshop 2013 will be organised in Chania (Greece) on 1st November 2013.

TRAMAN21 is an ERC (European Research Council) Advanced Investigator Grant. The main objective of TRAMAN21 (Traffic Management for the 21st Century) is the development of fundamental concepts and tools that will pave the way towards a new era of future motorway traffic management research and practice, which is indispensable in order to accompany, complement and exploit the evolving deployment of VACS (Vehicle Automation and Communication Systems).

We invite practitioners, researchers, students, and consultants to participate in the workshop. The sessions will include presentations by some main groups that have carried out research on this topic during the last decade, followed by an open discussion on future activities and needs. If you are interested in participating, please visit the registration page. Senior researchers who would like to participate in the round table are welcome to express their interest.

Furthermore, we would like to organise a poster session opened to other researchers who are interested in illustrating and discussing their work on the subject of modelling and controlling traffic in presence of VACS. If you are interesting in presenting your work, please submit the poster proposal in the dedicated section in the registration page.
